The Canary.  An on-line news-sheet. Very good, although stridently "left wing". But addicted to "click bait". And too many advertisements.

Open Democracy, an "independent global media platform" which offers "free thinking for the world".  Has interesting articles on e.g. Labour self-sabotage, and the malign effect of the ERG. Looks good 


Blogs

Vox Political.  A very active blogger (Mike Sivier). Particularly vehement on the misdeeds of the DWP.

Craig Murray.  An active blogger. Bills himself as "Historian, Former Ambassador, Human Rights Activist". One of the most incisive and articulate commentators around.  Highly recommended

Anoher Angry Voice (AAV). A left-wing political blog written by Thomas G. Clark, established in 2010, says Wikipedia, which "strongly supported the Labour Party leadership of Jeremy Corbyn". Also present on YouTube

Mazin Qumsiyeh, a Christian Palestinian academic and environmentalist. Very articulate, very incisive, and extremely benign.   Highly recommended

AVAAZ  A "campaigning community" for "people powered politics". Claims 64M members world wide.

38Degrees.  A very active UK petitions site.


Change.org The "world's platform for change". Claims 374M members.

Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) A USA-based group promoting peace and justice in Palestine.  Needs your support 

 

Extinction Rebellion (XR), the UK branch of the global movement against climate change and its effects.

Quaker Action on Alcohol and Drugs (QAAD) is "a Recognised Body of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) and a registered charity".
